Nature Printing and Watercolour Workshop

In this one-day workshop, tutor Rebecca Jewell will start with a brief history of nature printing and look at examples of work by historical and contemporary artists. Participants will be shown two different methods for printing directly from leaves and plants and will be shown how to add detail with watercolour. 

£75 per person, including lunch and materials, complete the form below to book your place

Materials will be provided but do bring your own watercolours and fine brushes if you have them

About the tutor
Rebecca Jewell 
is a fine artist and printmaker. She studied Natural History Drawing at the Royal College of Art and has many years’ experience teaching workshops – including at the British Museum, Kew Gardens, the Linnean Society and the Royal Drawing School. She co-founded Drawn from Nature (www.drawnfromnature.co.uk) running workshops in natural history drawing and painting.

COVID-19: We have limited numbers and the workshop will take place in a large, well ventilated room to ensure the safety of our participants. Should we be unable to go ahead with the workshop due to government guidelines, a full refund will be issued. For any other cancellations, a refund will be at our discretion.
