Fen Ditton Gallery are delighted to welcome our third artist-in-residence, Chris Winch.

After visiting our Art and the River Deben exhibition (Autumn 2022), Chris was inspired to explore his own long-standing connection to the River. He is a regular visitor to the Deben, sailing and investigating the myriad of creeks and shallows.

Chris comments; “Using textures, colours, words and found object, I hope to encourage the visitor to look again at how elemental forces (and man) interact with and affect our land and seascape, creating common patterns and themes that, ambiguously, can sometimes vary only in scale’.

Chris will be taking up residency from 12 - 23rd July, and welcomes visitors weekdays 10am - 4pm and weekends 10am - 5pm.
