Lotte Attwood: Bunch of Wildflowers, Shepreth
Lotte Attwood b. 1952 is a Cambridge artist who specialises in black and white film photography drawn, she says, to the potential of the medium to capture a particular atmosphere of land and buildings. She is interested in capturing places under change – her first exhibition in the 1980s documented a series of temporary buildings/sheds now all disappeared. A keen gardener – she used to work on the late Christopher Hogwood’s garden in Cambridge– plants are central to her life. She is also the founder/owner of Fen Ditton Gallery.
