Fen Ditton Gallery is delighted to welcome back Cambridge-based master printmaker, Kip Gresham.
Kip Gresham is a Cambridge based master printmaker who has collaborated with many of the UK’s leading painters and sculptors. In this talk, he will discuss some of his print collaborations with the painter Alan Davie, made towards the end of Davie’s life.
Three screenprints from this series are on show this week at the gallery as part of the May programme of In Dialogue displays. Gresham feels that Davie was an unusually fluent and interesting collaborator, reflecting the artist’s extraordinary 50-year career which encompassed working with others on improvised jazz music and textiles as well as printmaking including the famous 1960s Zurich Improvisations lithographs.
